 Gansey Jumpers                                                                                These are knitted in Jumper Weight wool (equivalent of 4ply) and can have different patterns as required. You can choose your colour from the Jamieson & Smith website. Originally they were worn by sailors, each with his own identifying pattern in case he was drowned at sea when he could be identified by his jumper. They are hard-wearing jumpers, but lovely and soft.
